Where hip-hop meets reggae, where jazz is played with dirty hands, where a Cuban line meets an Aussie rule, where nothing seems in place but sounds like many places played in one earthy chord. This is the island where THE CAT EMPIRE was born.
Some of you may remember this spiel from the early days of THE CAT EMPIRE, and we are bringing it back this year in celebration of the bands 10th birthday! Can you believe it's 10 years since our very first show in Austr...

If you dig a little deeper, it seems a lot more boring: you fly around the world and stand up in front of a few hundred people and say exactly th...
Hold on. Before we move on to Montréal, let’s backtrack a few destinations. We’ve had some, er, confusing feedback from Toronto:

2. shoot a 30 sec sequence which says something about you and what it is that calls you Home, or that you call Home, or that you simply love about Home.
The most compelling footage will be edited by us, ...

“Oh yeah, totally, you have to see it!”
We could all see how hostile Kieran was being, but unfortunately the strangers sitting amongst us on the plane didn’t pick up on it, so it soon turned into a nice conversation.
